Hi, I have a 2004 Roadking Custom with a 117″ motor putting out 138 hp and just about the same torque. I saw your product on Kevin Baxters YouTube channel, Harley Tech Tips/Twin Power. I need part numbers for your suggested clutch hub (I’ll be using my OEM basket), your suggested clutch pack, and diaphragm (I assume this would be the silver spring?) spring. I will do hard launches and the occasional burnout. That said when driving normal, I upshift and downshift without using the clutch. When racing on the street I will power shift utilizing the cutch with a constant wide open throttle. I hope this info helps you help me, thanks…
Hi Rick, The horsepower rating is typically not what stresses the clutch, it is the torque that will give your clutch a beating. Not knowing what your torque output is and at what RPM it comes in at I would recommend our APM Comp Master™ 1056-0006 with a gold spring. The silver spring is our best spring for most applications, however with your HP I would go with the gold. Its a bit harder to pull in, but it will most likely hold the power.
