Sturgis is a typical mid-west South Dakota town on any given day; it’s fairly quiet with a population of only about 6500 folks. But with the kickoff to the 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally coming up, it’s about to look a whole lot different. In the months prior to the rally, you can hear a car go by on the freeway at 10 o’clock at night from a mile and a half away. Fast forward to about four days before rally and you start to hear traffic 24 hours a day! Pretty soon Main St. will be full of vendors and literally covered with motorcycles and about 350,000 people. It’s the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Dammit!!!!
